On October 17th, the cosmos blesses us with a full super moon in the sign of Aries. This super moon is significant because it calls you to become yourself for yourself and no one else. Aspects to Chiron and the North node reveal that when you focus on being yourself for yourself you experience healing (Chiron) that allows you to move towards your soul purpose (North Node).
I KNOW WHO I AM
CLAIMING THE I AM
This super full moon in Aries in many ways is a coming to self moment. Just with any other full moon, there is a combination or climax, in this case, in Aries energy. There will likely be revelations about who you are and a confirmation of your own personal identity. While people think it is easy to know who they are, this is not always the case. Given that Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and represents being born into this experience, there is a clean slate to create the identity.
The full moon in Aries gives you an opportunity to come to terms about your identity and take action to align yourself with your true self.
NEW MOON-FULL MOON CYCLE
I AM WHO I AM

This super full Moon in Aries is a culmination of the Aries lunar cycle for 2024. Back in April, there was a total solar new moon eclipse on the 8th/9th depending on your location. This total solar eclipse was pivotal in setting the intention of claiming the self with authenticity. Due to the eclipse energy, it is very likely that a self-review resulted in eliminating aspects of the self that were no longer applicable or never were applicable. This is a perfect time to really think about who you are and who you want to be and set the intentions for becoming that person.
One of the greatest aspects about Aries energy is relying on the self to determine who you are. While other people can have their say about your personality and what you should or should not be or do, Aries energy encourages us to be one with the self in order to know the self. It’s for this reason that I named this blog FULL OF MYSELF. Usually when someone says that another person is full of themselves there is a negative connotation attached to this. However in the case of the Aries solar eclipse as well as the Aries full moon that we are currently experiencing, being full of yourself is important because that’s how you establish who you are. Once you are able to establish who you are (Aries) you’re in a better position to have healthy relationships with other people. Why? Because you are being your authentic self as opposed to the self that perhaps you’ve learned to be from birth that may not be aligned with who you currently are.
The great thing about Aries energy is that it is cardinal meaning that to become an authentic version of yourself you have to take action. The new moon solar eclipse on April 8th/9th ushered in a major shift that will present great changes to your “ I AM” over the next year. This full moon in Aries provides a combination of understanding that you do have the autonomy to be yourself for yourself. It is highly likely that who you were before or at the start of April 2024 will be extremely different in a year’s time…that is if you are applying the energy of becoming self autonomously and taking the cardinal actionable energy to change yourself into your true “ I AM.”
CLAIMING SELF AUTONOMY
THE BOSS OF ME

Many people want self autonomy, but in order to have this you have to be willing to establish who you are for yourself. Being the boss of yourself is not easy for those who are influenced by outsiders.
Some considerations for becoming the boss of yourself include:
- Do you allow yourself to be modified and created by others?
- If not for the imprint of your background, who would you be?
- Do you feel that you are living in your authenticity, or do you feel that the person you are is a sham or just one of the many faces you wear with other people?
- Are you often prompted to hide yourself because of the opinions and reactions that people have to you expressing your true self?
These are just some considerations when tackling the issue of claiming self autonomy. Aries energy in and of itself is like becoming a baby again and getting the chance to decide what you are without anyone’s input. Aries doesn’t need to seek the opinions of others to take action. It does so for itself.
Also, when you aren’t focused on being the boss of yourself, you may fall into a pattern of being the boss of someone else. This largely comes from people who have a desire to control the expression of others. The truth of the matter is no one is here to be what other people want them to be. We are all here to be the fullness of ourselves, and whoever likes it or doesn’t like it so what?

Also, when you become the boss of your own self you are in a better position to honor and appreciate other people who have done the same. Despite how it may look, it’s not easy being full of yourself. Most people spend entire lifetimes trying to be what other people think they should be. This Aries full moon encourages you to take action on being fully you.
HEALING THE IDENTITY
MOON-CHIRON IN ARIES
The full Moon in Aries makes a conjunction with the current transiting Chiron in Aries. It is very likely that understanding who you are and need to be for yourself will assist with healing. Everyone has identity wounds…even if they don’t want to admit it. Please note that just because someone’s wounds are different from yours doesn’t make them less or more important. This isn’t about other people; this is about you. With the moon-Chiron conjunction in Aries, there are deep-seated emotional (moon) wounds (Chiron) connected to the “I AM” or identity.

For some, due to the influence of the lunar energy, these woundings represented by Chiron could be linked to the maternal side of the family. There could also be an issue with the expression of feminine (moon) energy as well as masculine (Aries) energy. Some ways that this can show up are perhaps you do not feel comfortable sharing or exhibiting what some would deem are typically feminine traits such as being sensitive. This can also show up as individuals who have a hard time balancing the masculine and feminine energies within themselves. At this time, reconciliation of the expression of feminine and masculine energy is necessary for healing the identity.
As with all things Chiron, the healing done for the self opens you up to offer emotional support to those who are also dealing with self identity issues. With this full Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron, you can become the nurturing, actionable wounded healer encouraging others to be themselves and claim their identity from a place of true knowing and understanding.
A PURPOSEFUL SELF
MOON-NORTH NODE IN ARIES
This full Moon in Aries also aligns with the current transiting north node in Aries. By stepping into the fullness of yourself this puts you in alignment with your soul purpose. Here’s a question for you. How can you build a life for yourself if you have no idea who you truly are? How can you step into your purpose if you are not in alignment with your true self? While we all have a north node, the identity that we possess to fulfill our own personal north node will differ. Who and what one person needs to be to fulfill their soul purpose is going to be very different from what another person needs to fulfill their soul purpose.

For this reason, it is important to take time to be self-autonomous, and really accept what it is that you need to be the fullest version of yourself. From this place, you’ll be able to drop or at least change the characteristics that are no longer applicable for you. In doing so, it will set you on the path to fulfilling your north node purpose in this life.
People often tell others to stop being so full of themselves. Well, this full super moon in Aries encourages you to be just that. It is by being the boss of yourself and taking initiative to form your own identity for yourself and no one else that you create the space to heal the wounds (Chiron) around your identity which then helps you step into a purposeful life (north node) based on the authenticity of who you truly are. Go dear, and get to being full of yourself.
