After going retrograde on 01/06/25, Mars is finally moving direct in Cancer from 02/23/25 to 04/18/2025. I know many people, including myself, are quite happy about this. Mars retrograde definitely slows things down causing delays and even full on stops and even reversals in forward movement. While it can be downright frustrating, this Mars retrograde season is vitally important…especially with the upcoming shifts of energy into Aries…which happens to be ruled by Mars.
A vital lesson of the Mars retrograde in Cancer period is taking note of what motivates us, what propels our will, what prompts us to act. In terms of Cancer energy, there is a theme of considering how our emotions are connected to our actions. Do we act from emotions and how has that worked out for us? Mars retrograde provides insight on how acting from the emotions shows up in our lives. With Mars moving direct in Cancer, now we are in a position to use our emotions in a positive manner to obtain the emotional security desired.
